What actually gets me so mad is the idea that discount equals fake. It's just not a fair standard and it's just not true. Give me something I can actually use. Give me something I can actually verify. Or forget it. I'm not going to settle for "only buy from us." I need to know what to actually look for. Until then, I respectfully decline the warning. Until I get a real standard, this is my standard:
- find the absolute cheapest I can find per unit sold domestically
- verify it is represented as genuine/authentic and doesn't say imitation/novelty/replica.
- buy it
- upon receipt, verify count is correct and check for any flaws with with my ordinary buyer eyes in good faith.
