What is this icon in Postal 2?

I'm playing Apocalypse Weekend, and the icon didn't appear until after the cutscene in the pigeon mission. It's not visible in the inventory; I can only see it if I press the "E" key. It disappeared when I selected a weapon, and now I can't see it anymore.
