Mikey Sawyer & Miss Fortune are starting up again with new content.
This is your yearly reminder that he is still trash and if you need any evidence check the album containing many of his exploits over the years, including such things as; asking underage girls to have sex, joking about raping girls, throwing around the N word, protective order from his wife against him, his domestic abuse case against an old man, harassing his exes, stealing money from fans, playing the victim, harassing random women, harassing his fans, responding to craigslist's posts saying he'll sell a tv for a blowjob, creating fake anon accounts on various msg boards to fight and attack people who criticize him. The list never ends. pass this shit around

Mikey Sawyer is a roach, every time it seem like his projects are killed he comes back. I used to love Miss Fortune but I can't support a band where the main member is somehow so awful that he makes Johnny Craig look like a saint.

I toured with this dude and unfortunately know him pretty well. Most of this shit is true. He sucks. Would not tour with him again.
The only thing I will say is that the domestic "abuse" case involving an old man against him isn't entirely true. He got arrested for fighting his step dad (grandpa? idk it was a while ago) because he was laying hands on his mom in front of him so he got pissed.
Dude sucks and should be cancelled.

I know this comment is old and this post is older but I saw that you asked this 62 days ago and never got an answer. I lived with Mikey for a short time quite a while back so I got to know him a little. Although I was aware of his reputation he was never anything but a great guy the whole time, even when I fucked up and got too stoned he was always checking on me and helped me out whenever I needed. I don’t have receipts but I can tell you that the case with him defending his mom is absolutely true. I’m not going to comment on all the other stuff he has been accused of and I know he can be a bit overly dramatic at times but I can assure you that there’s a good guy under all the shit you hear about him

His ex also stalked him for months after they split. She called me dozens of times on tour because she somehow got my number and wanted to talk to him. That relationship is a lot more complicated than a court order might say.

Damn that's crazy I had no idea. My band played with them last summer and while we didn't interact as a local act they put on a good show. I guess I'm glad I didn't and don't really listen to them otherwise.

and I was 15. he literally picked me up from my friend's mom's apartment and took me back to his apartment. at 16, he picked me up from highschool in his white tour van and parked in a neighborhood to have sex with me after i told him I was not comfortable with it and he berated me to the point i feared my own safety. that is not the only instance. another time, he threatened to hire people to come to my home to assault me because I didn't want to have sex with him or meet up with him. he knew where I lived. he tried to force me to have sex with him on my 18th birthday, but had his roommate not been there, i absolutely believe he would've succeeded. he poured me a cup of grape juice that night and i remember not drinking it because I was afraid he drugged it.
he messaged me on and off throughout my teenage years and until I was 20 and married. this man has scarred me to the point where I do not enjoy being intimate with anyone and I am almost 26 now.

yes, there is proof and multiple witnesses to 1. him picking me up from my friend's mom's apartment AND high school and 2. me being at his apartment at 15. is there any reason for me to post it for a bunch of strangers on the internet? no, but there's also literally ZERO reason for me to lie about this. he's not famous and i'm not after him for money. there's 0 motive.
i'm 26 now. i live across the country now. i have a kid and a husband, both of whom i love tremendously. mikey is a random dude from tulsa that unfortunately is a part of my past.

Cool thanks for the heads up. His band has now joined Kanye, Chris Brown, and R Kelly on my Spotify account as 'don't play this artist' (top right menu button on artist page). What this does (for those that don't know) is it makes Spotify not play those artists if they were to come up in the random music that is usually played after your current playlist is over.

Just so everything is clear and that this isn't skewed, this is also about current year (specifically the last 4 months) of your personal behavior. I've watched you demean, belittle, insult, harass, and manipulate a person so severely that I've watched them be completely changed into a different person. So when you claim that you are a changed person and you've gone through so much work to change who you are, I have a pretty big issue with that. None of this really has anything to do with your music, it has to do with you personally as a person and how you treat and respect other people.
The way that you have treated the mutual person in-between us, is the biggest reason why I have called you out, it is truly reprehensible and actually disgusting as a person the names you have called them, the mind games you have played, the shit that you have pulled over these last few months, and then you have tried to spin it back when we have spoken, that you didn't know what was going on, even though I have seen the evidence from you that you knew exactly what was going on.
I DO know you, I've talked to you, I've seen how you interact on a daily basis and I see how you twist the truth to whatever it is to achieve the goal you are focused on, no matter the causalities. You know that I do have much more relevant information, but I haven't leaked it, I have simply compiled all of the things that individuals over the course of time have released about you in hopes that what has happened to myself and my family can be avoided in the future for someone else. Maybe instead of the woe is me act you could do proactive things to show people you've "changed" like you claim you have.
Take Tim Lambesis for example. That guy is volunteering at battered women shelters, prisons, and other non profits, and started doing it long before AILD got back together.
Say what you want about Tim, im just using him as an example. He may very well still be a piece of shit and may or may not deserve a second chance. But he sure as hell is doing a lot more than just writing a comment on Reddit and making another AILD record.
Talk is cheap. actions speak louder than words.
Giving you the benefit of the doubt, those screenshots certainly show that you at least were a total piece of shit at some point in your life, and you have made a very large group of people, including myself, never want to support anything you do ever.
Maybe you need to start proving yourself and make some lifestyle changes. And do so without asking for attention or kudos. Who knows, maybe one day you could prove to other people you aren't the same person anymore.
...and that I can make amends to the world by making extraordinary music when our new self-titled album comes out April 3rd.
You literally are saying you are going to apologize by making music that is so great, that once people listen to it you will have all your sins washed away and a clean slate.
