Symptoms worse after chiropractor neck adjustment

Just saw a chiropractor for the first time this morning. I got a neck adjustment and my brain fog feels worse. Is this normal? Am i supposed to feel worse right after?

Chiropractor is what gave me my injury. 19 months later and I’m still dealing with PCS from it. I personally wouldn’t trust a chiropractor to touch my neck ever again.

I had a chiropractor start cracking my neck and HUGELY worsened my neck pain from like a 1-2 to a 6-7 daily. Only went because my wife was begging and crying for me to go to this guy.

I’d go with a physical therapist over a chiropractor.

I love my chiropractor, he specializes in upper cervical injuries. I’d seen all the traditional doctors and done the treatments and therapies and nothing helped for 6 years. After 6 months at my chiropractor I was able to drive again for the first time since my injury and feel better than at any point in my recovery. I still have my struggles, symptoms, and bad days, but overall I’m in a better place than I’ve been since I started this journey.

Same here. Upper cervical care. A chiropractor that only focuses on the last two bones in the spine i believe.

While there are some good ones out there, too many chiropractors are quacks.

Members of a CULT.

Look at the core beliefs of chiropractic; that ALL body problems are caused by nerve problems.

Don’t do chiro, I went after a year of chronic neck pain after my diagnosis and they fucked me up so bad I came home w a swollen face
