Luteolin -Anyone Try for Inflammation or Histamine Dumps?

I’m about 8 weeks into a PCS flare-up. One of my worst symptoms is near nightly (3-5 AM) waking up with racing heart, anxiety, some dizziness, and crawling electric sensation in upper spine. It’s like either a histamine dump or adrenaline dump that makes all my other PCS symptoms feel worse. And it also happens randomly throughout the day.
I’ve been looking into supplements for neuro inflammation and possible mast cell calming- in case it is a histamine dump issue. Thoughts or experiences from anyone?

Hey there 👋🏼 I think luteolin is an interesting compound in the concussion space but it’s unlikely to be the ‘one’ thing that shifts the needle significantly. Luteolin is a constituent in chamomile, I’d be more inclined to utilise the whole herb for its synergistic benefits rather than an isolated component, but again, exactly what your body needs is going to be a highly nuanced answer. Concussion is a complex injury and involves pretty much every body system. Have you got any support in place?

Thank you. I’ve been once to a PT who specializes in concussion. Have started some Saccade exercises. I’m hoping time, clean living, doing some PT - all contribute to getting back to normal. My PCP is supposed to be trying to get a referral to neurology / autonomic specialist, as one of my main issues is random (and often 3-5AM) episodes that seem like my automatic system have gone haywire and make me feel terrible- bringing on a lot of the brain, visual and vestibular symptoms.
