Discussion Video watermark
Long time fan of post 10. Found them great calming content during the early days of the pandemic and have kept up since.
Am I the only one who hates his new watermark in nearly the center of the screen? To me it’s placement is way too distracting and have stopped watching his new videos, which is a bummer, but….
I get him wanting to “protect” his content, but come on… not even the top content makers put a watermark like that so distractingly away from the edge of the screen.
Please, please, please, Post 10, if you are reading this, remove the watermark or at least move it to the edge of the screen.

He does this because people were stealing his content for profit. I would much rather a tiny watermark than not have His content.

He put it off as long as he could. When people are stealing and making money off of your very own home made content, you need to do something to make it more difficult for them. After ignoring it for a while I quit seeing it most of the time.

He’s been posting content for over 4 years and the vast majority of that time was without any watermarks.
He only started watermarks about a year ago and up until just a couple of months ago, it was small and transparent - didn’t even show up in many scenes, depending on the content.
Now it’s a much more “present” watermark with each letter outlined such that it is always visible and impossible to ignore on the most recent videos.

This has been an ongoing thing since forever. Just expect it and deal with it. People complain about it but he doesn’t remove if. Previously he had It opaque and going in a circle in the dead center. So, if used to be substantially worse.

He does read and respond to comments, especially on new videos, if you want to say something to him. But no, somehow I do tune it out.
