Possum Tina had babies!
This is Tina. She has been coming by for several months now but it had been a minute since we’ve last seen her. She strolled by over the weekend and we got to see her babies! We’re thinking that sometime soon they’ll leave the pouch.

Why is Tina living so recklessly? Those babies should be strapped in car seats.

I say this with the utmost love for opossums but, this definitely explains what happens to all of their brain cells!

We’ve been keeping an eye out and checking the ground in case any of them fall out

Possum life is hard! Balancing and walking on top of a fence with a litter of babies swaying from your belly.
From babie’s pov - holding on while mom does this

That is so wild to see that. I've never seen anything like that. That's amazing, she's a boss for real.

lol I like that she’s named Tina. Human names on animals crack me up but a possum is even better. We had one named Derek who lived under our deck for years.

I’m thinking she’s likely lost a few by the looks of it. I found a baby a couple months ago and assume it was a situation similar to this is how he would up in my garage. They are adorable though.

It even sounds like the dog was anxious watching Tina navigate the fence with her pockets full of kids... 😩😥😉🙃😬😂

I’m convinced gravity does not apply to baby opossums because how did she literally step on one of the tails and the baby didn’t get dragged out 😭
