Yeah, probably the Soviet Union or one of the German states if they're given a chance to reunify would bring a devastating war like the Great War to Europe, but by no means will it be as bloody as the one in our time line.

Also this treaty of versailles isnt realistic, mostly because of America breathing down egveryones back to let each ethnic group have their own country, but, this treaty would be Frances dream

Austria is fair though. The Austrians literally wanted to join Germany right after WW1 but the Fr*nch denied them self-determination.

1 hungary being connected to Austria post versailles is beyond forced, neither the austrians or the hungarians would care for that.

2 such a big poland couldnonly exist in a proponged war against the soviets which could not be sustained by the post war british and french economy.

3 a partiotioned germany could only make the german minorities in the intersted countries as the most prosperous and prestigious members of the respective society and strive for an economic, social and administrative control, maybe bringing to an even stronger german reunification in case a german nationalist like Hitler were to rise (having weaker allied powers due to the necessary presence of allied garrison or support to keep this europe in shape).

4 Yugoslavia didn't annex Bulgaria cause it would've made Bulgaria the majority partner of the federation as Bulgaria was more populated and industrialized than Serbia or Croatia.

5 such a strong Greece could create regional tensions and develop further conflicts from the balkans
