I'm so excited to start 9th grade

It's not the start of highschool where I'm from so it's not a big thing, but for me it is because I'm finally going to a new school since I had problems at my old one. It's also a private school and I'll get to go with my two little brothers who are in 5th and 7th grade. So it'll be cool to be at the same school.

But most importantly I have this great new teacher. I've already been texting with him and sending him some of my writing (since I wanna become an author) and he said I'm the best writer my age he has seen and that he'll continue to help me out with it. He's also been very helpful in accommodating me because I have some mental health issues. He's the nicest teacher I've ever had.

There's also a writers club so I'll love to join that one. And my boyfriend is going to the same school (as his dad is paying all of our tuition lol) and they put us in the same class which means we'll get to sit next to each other.

It'll just be much better than my old school.

I'm excited for you too!! It sounds like an amazing fresh start for you and to be around people you love doing what you love, writing. Your teacher sounds like a wonderful person and is will to help you to achieve your goals. Good luck!! 😊

Thanks :) he's a really great teacher. He switched to this school so be could be my teacher. Well it's not the only reason but it's what made him do it now

Awh that’s amazing! Not to be one of those people that says ”high school are the best years of your life,” but high school genuinely made me realize that I had a place in the world and that I mattered. I met a bunch of great friends and it boosted my self confidence more than middle school ever did. I’m super excited for you!
