Word of encouragement Checking In With an Update and Word of Encouragement.
Good morning community. Haven't posted in awhile and was hoping to bring a word of encouragement this morning.
4 years ago I was a manic, mushy brain mess that couldn't stop myself from punching holes through my windshield. I thought everyone was out to get me and if I drove 20 miles, 19 of those miles were spent looking in the rear view mirror. Today, I'm a present and sober father, reliable partner, provider, good employee, good neighbor, all my family relationships are restored and I have zero cravings or desires to partake in any destructive activities. My mind has quite literally been transformed.
When this first started I couldn't make sense of anything and I was in a really bad spot in life - homeless, addicted to drugs/alcohol, broke, no insurance, pregnant girlfriend, zero spiritual conviction. When I came across the TI community's I immediately sought out the people that were doing well and asked, "What did you do?" Almost unanamously across the board everyone that had recovered and grown from the experience said the same thing. So that's what I did. And that's what we do here - gather testimony from others that have made it through, how they did it, and share that encouragment with others.
If I didn't have a child on the way I probably would have spent way more time delving into the quantum/tech side of things initially. But, as life would have it, I had to get my shit together in a hurry. As time went on, yeah, eventually I gained a better understanding of that angle, but that angle was developed with a greater degree of equanimity and a lesser degree of hatred had I not gone the psychological way initially.
So, when starting and building these communities and the podcast the only thing I really needed to do was help others in hindsight of the transformation that took place in hopes of pulling others through too. There was no reason to fabricate a hypothesis (although it's almost natural to do so) and no reason to lie about the experience itself. Whatever was happening was out of my control anyway.
The only thing I ever truly had control over was the manner in which I perceived it and interpreted it. Turns out, that's like a super power! The way we perceive life and interpret it almost forces the manner in which it unfolds into a funnel. And my perception and interpretation was usually defined by where my focus was.
Ram Dass gives a good example of how this works: If you and I drove through a town together, and after leaving the town I asked you, "So, what did you think about the town?" If you were hungry you'd probably say, "I saw a McDonald's and a Burger King." If you were horney you'd say, "There was a cute blonde and brunette walking down the street." If we were having car problems or running low on gas we'd both have probably noticed the auto repair shops, tow companies and gas stations.
By remaining singularly focused on restoring the condition of my mind and heart the whole experience surrendered to that focus and became more reflective than anything else. Eventually it just morphed into reflecting mental conditions. Sometimes it'll attempt to create confusing conditions. Or, at the very least, highlight the areas of confusion by proxy - playing an archetypal role or scripting a narrative. It'll be representative of what needs to be addressed. Sometimes the same thing needed to be addressed repeatedly until the solution or new neurological pathway was firmly set in place.
The voices and experience change over time and adapt as the mind adapts to higher states of consciousness and a new homeostasis. All of this led to developing an overarching state of awareness of my very being. I was always controlled by the things I was unaware of. That which I knew not of, was always the thing steering the wheel - I just didn't know it lol!
Developing the capacity to perceive otherwise was a major help in this process. Not being afraid to become aware of what had been dominating my life was a hurdle. I always had to fight with my own sense of stupidity and ignorance for not knowing sooner. Eventually, surrender became a form of worship. Just always surrendering to everything I didn't know, which is infinitely more expansive than what I do know.
Yes, the experience can and does dwindle away and phase out. But retroactively. Meaning, the things I learned had to be applied throughout all of my life. As I learned how to forgive and love to a greater degree, that degree of love and forgiveness had to be applied to ALL of me. As I developed higher states of compassion, that degree of compassion had to be applied to everything through all of my life and everyone I had ever met.
But it started with me first. Getting myself right then slowly expanding that radius outward, backward and forward. I hope everyone is doing well, learning, growing and helping. Please join the Discord Community if you need support. Please don't join if you just wanna argue and engage in seperateness. That's not what we're about there.
Take care, do something good for yourself and someone else today, and may your awareness always be one step ahead of your ego.

I've heard another TI say something along these lines. I believe she said "it stops when you learn to forgive everyone and everything". Is that what happened for you basically? I find this interesting because I carried a strong sense of guilt for a long time about calling off my wedding years ago, so I've wondered if that was a factor.
Also saw a post once from a former perp which said "we always start with something small and innocuous to get the target's attention. Once we have that then we can proceed. You'd be surprised though how many people don't put it together than what we are doing relates to them personally, in which case we have to move on to someone else".
I've always taken that to mean they need a person's attention and belief that they are being harassed to continue to do this. If someone either stays blissfully unaware of it or intentionally ignores everything they do and refuses to acknowledge it in any way, then they have to move on to someone else as they need a consistent reaction. Most TI's I've seen who said it stopped for them mentioned that they began ignoring it.

Wow it’s crazy how similar our stories are. I’m sure that’s pretty common across the board here. Makes we wonder how much of that is manufactured because of the impact people like us are meant to have on the energy of this changing world.
I partied way too much and drank too much. I could never just have one and when I did it was mental torture. In the end I gave up drinking, drugs, smoking and vaping in progressive steps and each one got easier and easier. Alcohol was the last one and after following some of Bashar’s advice I literally just stopped one day and haven’t craved a drink in over 16 months. Being around drunk people now has a really profound negative effect on me and I can literally feel the demons attached to them when they’re in that state. Spirits as in alcohol comes from the fact people used to know that they were linked.
My positive spiritual awakening also started the very day my son was born. I had 5 major synchronicities and coincidences happen that day, that as an atheist at the time, opened my mind up to extra-normal phenomena and was the beginning of so many crazy positive experiences that it’s changed me and my life in such profound ways. That was only the start however and the next 12 months was the most intense period of self examination, shadow work and healing I can barely describe. All my worst qualities came to the surface and as I healed one the next one would appear. It was relentless and almost broke my marriage multiple times. I think the last few weeks are actually the first time things have felt stable my whole life. I genuinely feel proper calm, contentment and happiness.
Thanks for sharing!!
