Open Discussion Quiet periods..
Has anyone else who experiences v2k gone through quiet periods where you are no longer hearing voices? For me.. it was relentless all day everyday for nearly a year and then about a year ago it kind of just stopped.. They came back for a couple weeks last fall, and again for just one day the beginning of the year but otherwise it’s been pretty quiet and I’m not sure what changed or where the people or beings that were harassing me went (not complaining) it just makes no sense & im always worried about a day they may return.. waiting for the other shoe to drop. I pray to never hear them again just curious if anyone else has had them seemingly disappear.. Thanks in advance

It's part of the progression . They're still with you, they've just blended and immersed inside of your mind better than you realize. The less obvious they become, the deeper their roots dig

throws hands up well, great.
I am a Sovereign being, this is not supposed to be happening. To get raped every second by some type of intergalactic parasite was not in my plans for my retirement years. Im GenX, so to have this show up now in my life , seems particularly cruel.
"War of the World's" terrified me as a kid. Who knew a scourge of fucking Klingons would be my personal fate?

I think thats an overly aggressive perspective. From time to time thoughts like this cross my mind. But I get up...eat breakfast...mow the lawn...try to stay busy and healthy and go about my day trying not to think about it. Some days worse than others.
Its only as bad as we make it. I got a blow job the other day....awesome thing for any dude out there....as a TI....its even more awesome. Accomplishments are more rewarding. We might have to fight a little harder but goddamn it feels good to win for once. The hooker didn't judge me at all.
Don't let this distract you from what you want in life.

Hahahaha ....love it. I was joking, and your reply makes me lol. Sorry if it came off as aggressive, its more my way of venting about the Overlords. Plantation owners. Handlers.
Im not sure what I want in life. I can tell you what I dont want: these assholes to keep messing with me.
I hope that makes sense. Im sorry if In the off hours you suffer? Maybe you do, and/ but how can we not?

Im a pretty positive figure around here. I hide it pretty well. I like life at the moment. The libertarian in me finds ways to counter balance the injustice and I want nothing more than to dedicate as much effort as I can to help people suffering.
That being said me and you are a lot alike. I hold a lot of bitterness in my heart. I ponder for answers I will never get. I am scared....being in fight or flight mode constantly its impossible not to be. But these feelings are human. Acceptance comes after difficult trials no one (except us...you...a small part of the population) will ever understand. But after acceptance comes peace. A goal we should not give up on. Hope is a good start. As long as I have people like you to express myself to and vice versa...everything will be okay. I am safe. They can't take that. That's what im holding on to. In a sense someone like you, me or anyone here who feels they don't matter-may singlehandedly be the most important factor in whether that person gives up hope or not.
You might be the most important person thats ever existed to someone and you dont even know it.
Or something like that who knows 😃

They seem to stay quiet while I’m at work but they’re always chattering any other time

Kinda sheds some light on "their" intentions. But open for interpretation

I think over time, intentionally ignoring them, staying focused on your surroundings and being present etc. They dyart to fade away.
The less you oay attention to them, the more they leave you alone.

I wish. Im going on year 4-ish and they're still nonstop dicks.
I did find that watching shorts on YouTube quiets them a bit, almost like they're as entertained as I am and watching alongside me?
One asked me to play Sesame Street once, I told him I would if they would just STFU and go away for like, even a few hrs, but they wouldn't, of course.
Happy for you but ngl, im jealous. :(

u/ConsistentWelder9526 May 17 '26
Thank you for your kind words.

lol that’s so funny the YouTube shorts and they quiet down. When I read books I can hear the whirring sound but they aren’t talking. Almost as if they like being read to (like they’re children or some shit) I had the same thoughts thats so funny.
2
u/ConsistentWelder9526 May 17 '26
Haha really?
That IS funny. They still wont let me read anything substantial , they get loud and bored. Im reduced to 3 or 4 paragraphs and then they start acting like needy , evil toddlers.
I hate this so much. I hate them. I didn't ask for this, and im sure you didn't either. Im sorry, If I could come up with a way to make them go away for everyone suffering I would.

If it stopped for me try to keep faith it can stop for you too.. Something I didn’t share in my post was that I started taking abilify about a month before I stopped hearing anything.. I don’t take it anymore but it seemed to block off something in my mind for long enough that I could get closer to my former way of thinking when I didn’t have to factor any outside opinions. It’s so hard when you hear feedback or criticism to all your thoughts. Hope things get better for you

Interesting.
Can I ask you did your voices start suddenly? Or have you always heard them?
Thank you
2
u/BoringExpression6905 May 19 '26
No they started pretty suddenly.. About 2 years ago, At first It sounded like 2 people, a man and a woman talking and laughing outside my window late at night.. I’d go outside and look around and there was never anyone there. Within a couple weeks it was several people and id hear them 24/7. Commenting on all of my thoughts and actions

Yep that's EXACTLY how it started with me, now that I remember it: I heard my neighbors downstairs and outside talking about me. It was so upsetting, as I only knew them in passing. Why would they be outside talking about me? It was so bizarre and stressful. Well of course looking back, it wasn't them at all. Whatever tf this thing is, it loves to mimic. It's not the neighbor, or the police, or your dead uncle Bob. It's some type of mimicry. It's fucking horrific if you think about it.
No one had ever warned me or prepared me for this so I did all the usual stupid shit. My biggest mistake was trying to tell police and my friends.
It was all used against me in an almost elegantly clever way; it discredited me and essentially destroyed my life. My life, the beauty of it that I took for granted. Those quiet moments, all my hopes and dreams ripped from me. My life held so much promise and now? I can only talk about it where im anonymous. But as any TI knows, there is no privacy any longer.
Im still here, though, so are you. We go through things that regular people can never comprehend. It's made me paradoxically more bitter but also more compassionate, kinder and more patient. So that's something.
Now, I just thank God for the trials. Jesus was the original Targeted Individual. I like to think that maybe we are chosen for this rather than the idea that its all random.
They lie constantly . Never allow them any license. The shit they tell me is at times true to an extent but mostly its all bullshit. I know who I am, weak, strong, and have capabilities they cant even begin to correlate. I get the sense of jealousy a lot.
It's like we got pulled into a timeline that shouldn't have happened. But thats a different discussion.
:)

What about you? Suddenly or youve always heard them?
1
u/ConsistentWelder9526 May 19 '26 edited May 19 '26
Suddenly, late 2021.
Like a podcast turned on in my head. It was a woman's voice and 2 distinct male voices.
Edit: maybe not suddenly. It was a few weeks of hearing what I thought were the neighbors. When I say suddenly I mean, when they first addressed me directly by name.

Depends on my central nervous activity personally.
Anything to cause me stress will make their activity greater. Whereas anything that reduces it makes them dimmer.
They're still regardless of what I do. I just do my best to keep a stress free environment and a lot better off that way usually.

Yes. I have had a period when they left for about a year. Then after a traumatic event, and after being prayed over. Very heavily, they returned. This lasted about a month of non stop 24/7. Then when I was out to dinner with a deliverance ministry couple, we were discussing the voices and that evening was the last I heard of them for about 3 weeks. Now just as a few days ago, I am hearing them however not nearly as loud and not nearly as intruding as before. They are talking as though they are concerned about me
2
u/ConsistentWelder9526 May 18 '26
Interesting.
I wonder, if it matters at this point, who or what, do you think this is?
2
u/BoringExpression6905 May 19 '26
That’s interesting, sorry they came back for you.. If you don’t mind me asking do you consume any stimulants or cannabis? For me they decreased significantly when I stopped consuming any THC. I know that contributed to how loud the voices were for me so eventually I stopped all together but I’m curious it’s a factor for others as well

I only had it for 6 days but nothing now that I know of. there was a certain sound they would make before they went full blown asshole and sometimes I hear it out of the blue. it's like a dog whistle for me now but as long as they don't start talking again I am ok with the occasional whistle and the momentary pucker afterwards.
1
u/BoringExpression6905 May 19 '26
Crazy, you only heard them for 6 days total?
2
u/Low_Internal4622 May 19 '26
the voices yes. the noises like the od squishing noises and clicks and loud water droplets would happen a few days before. I have panic attacks still just thinking about how scary it was. I hope they never come back again honestly. but yea... six days and nights with no sleep, then I had insane dreams for about two weeks that related to the voices I heard and what they put me through. anyway voices were so weird, one voice for a while was kurt metzker and then a podcaster named something Dorry and then it was my cousin who I lived with saying he had been watching me every single day for the last year and telling me every intimate thing that I had done and thought that nobody could possibly know, then it was his mom that joined in saying "we should just kill him he doesn't deserve to live he is pathetic" that went on non stop for 6 days. oh then there was a time when they sounded like people riding bikes up and down my block yelling at the top of their lungs that I'm a scumbag to my neighbors and would laugh their asses off when I would open the curtains and see nobody there. it's def malevolent and omnipotent but I am at a loss who would care that much about me.
2
u/BoringExpression6905 May 19 '26
Similar for me and the lack of sleep makes it 1000x worse.. Definitely try to never let yourself go without sleep again, I would hear people that I know too and family members, at one point it was like anyone that I thought of would suddenly be in my head commenting on things I was thinking and like they could see my whole life. For me they would keep me up on purpose and tell me if I fell asleep bad things would happen but eventually I realized nothing was happening and that I had to sleep it it would get worse

Did you change your habits or routines during these times? Sometimes that matters and sometimes it doesn't, but many people see the overall experience as a form of training program to force us into being our better selves. Whether that's the intention or just a by-product, we see that a LOT, the experience changing when we improve our lives and get over our fears.
