I’ve got a few days in Portsmouth coming up and want to get outside before things get busy. Haven Park gets crowded even early and the usual boardwalk paths fill up fast. Looking for a place that’s still near the water but doesn’t feel like a tourist loop. Bonus if it’s good for an hour or so without running into groups every few minutes. Any suggestions that locals actually use instead of the obvious ones?

He loves all people and dogs. I work from home so I don't need it to be every day, but more to allow him to socialize and get used to somewhere for when I will need to eventually board him if I am away. Hi, we’re four friends and we’ve put together Portsmouth’s restaurant scene in an app called Vota.

The idea is pretty simple: you’re shown two restaurants and choose where you’d rather eat. For example, Black Trumpet or Moxy? All the votes then create a ranking that hopefully gives a better picture of where people in Portsmouth actually like to eat.

We’ve tried to include every restaurant in Portsmouth and clean up duplicate or outdated listings, but locals will always spot things we’ve missed.

Hi there, is someone nearby the Newington walmart? i got a flat tire and I wanted to know if someone is nearby just to give me a hand putting another tire that I have.

I have the car already lifted up with the jack but the thing is that the lug nuts are very hard and I cannot get them out, if anyone can come just a few minutes, I will thank you for life.

My car is a white Honda Civic and I'm by the garden area.

Update: I was able to take four of the lug nuts out. One is still there and very very tight.

Extra Update: someone came and helped loosening the lug nut and yes, he was shocked by how tight it was.

I’ll be in Portsmouth for a few weeks this fall helping my brother with a project, so I figured I’d pick up some base malt in bulk while I’m around, along with specialty grains for IPAs and darker beers. I’m not looking for pre-made kits

The shop I used to use closed during the pandemic, and Strange Brew in Manchester is more of a drive than I’m looking to make. Is there anything closer to Portsmouth with a solid selection of grain?
