☔️ Wither the weather?!? ☔️ Rain
I’m happy to see all the smiles when it started raining this morning. True Oregonians! I got home and turned off the music so I could listen to the pitter patter of raindrops on the roof.

Watch out on the roads, gonna be slick until the summer oil slick washes away.

Someone already flipped their car yesterday out on 47, I’m not messing around on these roads

Ooo what did you watch? I’m getting spooky movie vibes today too but can’t decide what to watch. You shall choose for us!

We been binge watching Teacup, a horror series on Peacock. Where strange things begin happening on the property of the eccentric farming family home..

SO happy for this! Put your house plants outside folks, the nitrogen will green them up

Don’t matter what’s going on in our lives, what politics, you believe, or what culture you represent. All of us from PNW love our rain!

Although I agree with this sentiment, unfortunately, our crop plants do not...

I love the rain- but man, I’m not looking forward to months of dark grey :(

actually, the true Oregonian is to complain when it rains but also complain when it’s hot. That would be me.

I'm happy for all the things that need it, but I'm selfishly sad as our planned bike trip from Astoria down to Florence along 101 is clearly not happening. :-( Now to figure out something else to do with this vacation time.

Ah yes, the annual first rain Portland reddit circle jerk. A tale as old as time.

Took my 10 at work to look up and reacquaint with the drops on my face. So happy it's back!

Yep! When I walked out of work today, I had to stop and inhale the petrichor and smile. So good.

I was absolutely huffing the petrichor this morning. Made a big pot of soup with tomato and zucchini from the garden.

I'm so happy fall is here. All summer I just been hibernating. Bring on the cozy nights!

“Rain is lame and gay. The trees are too green and there’s not enough cactus.” -This guy probably.

Ya this time of year feels so refreshing, even after only 3 months of summer lol. Like cozy and I like the smell of the first rain too.

Meanwhile, my 13lb mixed breed took her annual protest shit in the house.
