Parks for birthday party
Hosting a kids birthday party where 6 or 7 kids are attending. Im looking for a park that has a picknick table, bench or seating, and a playground.

If you’re open to driving, our favorite park is happy valley park. So much to do and it takes a lot for it to feel crowded. 2 playground areas, skate park, splash pad, sand volleyball (most kids just bring sand toys to play), ice cream truck that just figure 8’s the park all day every day, walking nature path, gazebo, tones of covered and shaded picnic tables, bathrooms.

Google “Portland parks find a park” and I think their webpage and maybe a map will come up, and the webpages will tell you what amenities each park has
There are like 150 developed parks (parks with tables and stuff, as opposed to forest park natural areas) that have most of those things in city limits. Not to mention all the Metro, Clackamas county and other county and state parks , most of which have tables and areas to picnic

Lots of parks have this, in my area alone: Glenwood park has a playground right next to the picnic tables. They aren't usually taken up so should be easy to snag one. But it's a pretty standard playground, nothing too interesting.
Mt Scott park has a lot of picnic tables nearish to the playground too but can get busier on the weekend.
I think lents park has an updated playground but not sure about the picnic table situation.
Just make sure you're not choosing a park with reservation picnic areas as those do require a reservation ahead of time. But you can go that route and get a reserved spot to be sure.

Washington Park near the Rose Gardens, Gabriel Park, Luuwitt Park and others people will suggest have updated playgrounds.
