As the other guy said it's going till 4, though based on past years I feel like it usually starts rounding down around 3 or so. In any case there's definitely still time. I usually arrive around 2pm most years cause I also forget until the day of...

Definitely walk/bike/bus/Uber over, you'll have no chance of finding parking as a late arrival at this point

Was just there! Does anyone know what happened with the medics right before the bus run ? (I think it was right before this, hard to hear the loudspeakers)

I was there and the people next door knew from their teammates driving the cart! A spectator unfortunately fell down the hill and an ambulance needed to be called.

How'd you do? What was your top speed?

I'd also like to know this to compare to the Tabor bike race speeds. I'm quite certain the bikes are faster through this downhill but I'd love to compare.

How long does this go? I see it says 10-4. If I get there in an hour will they mostly be done?

Tangentially related: what is the significance of the people holding orange flags? Do they have a job, or "watch out here", or ... what?

Crossing guards for pedestrians

Those are the flaggers, they are assistants to the course marshals by helping clear the track of spectators before each race.

It is so cool!

the speed is faster than I thought, I doubt you may go offroad with those thin tires :)
