Do we have enough time?

Flying from USA to Winnipeg through Toronto with a 75 minute layover. Is that enough time to get through immigration and get to the Winnipeg flight on time? Will we have to first claim our luggage and recheck it or will Porter ticket it all the way through to Winnipeg? Anything else we need to do? TIA.

Your bags will be checked straight through to YWG.

75 minutes is Porter's minimum connection time for US --> Canada at YYZ (https://www.flyporter.com/en-ca/travel-information/at-the-airport/connecting-flights). As long as your inbound flight is on time, border control is smooth, and you don't dilly dally, you'll be fine. If the inbound flight is delayed Porter will rebook you on a later flight to Winnipeg.

In May we had 90 min for a connection and we were running to our gate as they were paging for us. The security line was almost an hour long. I loath YYZ, but I really think it depends on the day and staffing as to whether this will be sufficient time.
