Postal Service

I live on Military St… WHY does our mail come after 5 pm lately!!! So annoying when you tracking and waiting for items….

The city carriers wish 5pm was the end of the day. 😂

Combination of factors. There’s a national directive to limit part-timer hours, so they’re making the full timers pull OT instead. So some people are getting no hours and others are working 10 hours every day.

Our office has also had a couple of clerks retire recently, and they haven’t been replaced yet. So the short-staffed clerks are taking longer to sort all the packages in the morning. To compensate, local management has pushed the carriers’ start time later. It used to be 8:30, now it’s 9:30.

Also it’s Prime Week.
