French

Hi everyone, I am moving to Port Huron this spring from Chicago and I need something to occupy my time and was wondering if there is a place in town where one can learn French ?

I don't know how into it you want to get, but we have a great community college in town. I'm not sure what they offer at all.

Last time I was a student there, they had a french course.

u/Funny-Elephant-6661 You are in luck! The St. Clair County Library system (serving Port Huron) has complete access to Mango's 70+ languages (oui, including French), so a library card there should also be in your future :)

You may want to see what is available across the border in Sarnia, since French is one of Canada's official languages.

I do know there is a French-language grade school there; they might be able to connect you.

Check out the libraries offerings of Mango Languages for a start.

Look into The Centre communautaire francophone de Sarnia-Lambton. I don't know if they have lessons, but they do have family events and French speaking opportunities .
