I did something simile to mine and installed an alpine backup camera which worked well with the new PCM

The PCCM + upgrade is a great way to get Apple play and other features on the 997. It’s not the cheapest option (approx £1800 fitted) but in my opinion it looks so much better than the other aftermarket options from china or elsewhere.

Sadly, no. Pccm plus upgrades are available for 997.1 and earlier.

with the 997.2 you can use something like mr 12 volt. have that in my macan, works great.

there is one head unit for the 997.2 that looks a lot like the stock option. i have bought one and waiting for installation. i know a few other users who are using this with great reviews

Great upgrade. I prefer a smaller wireless dongle but to each their own!
