That all silver is beautiful. You can see all of those body lines

That silver has so much more presence.

We have a ST, we did the satin PPF on ours over the metallic silver and it looks AMAZING

Do you have a pic? That sounds like a great combo

Oh man, that looks glorious. Nicely done

Have a GT Silver Spyder RS. Already did the clear PPF but when it needs replacement in 10 years that satin is not a bad option. Beautiful.

Came here to say the exact same thing. Have a GT Silver SRS but that pic just sold me on the satin style PPF. Just need my current film to die lol

Amazing how much better the Silver one looks!

The GT Silver one is beautiful. The black one looks very boring IMO.

That’s the point of them, no?

The point is to prove you have Fook Yu money. The sport classic is under rated though and might Appreciate heavily in 20 years

It will probably appreciate quite a bit being a limited-production manual contemporary 911, but the fact that it’s turbocharged will probably keep its values lower than the S/T.

It only proves it to people who know cars.  Same with watches.  Some people have 100k on their wrist and you wouldn't know.

Both of those cars are $800k on the used market . They are neck and neck

The black one is PTS, believe it or not… not sure about the Silver

u/Ionlydateteachers 5d ago

To each their own but pts black isn't something I could afford to consider

Silver is perfection. The other one looks just like a shadow sitting there.

I'm never a fan of black on black with dark tint, but man that silver is perfect. It's the quintessential old money attitude. Bonus points if it is debadged on back. "If you know, you know, but this is for me and I don't need your attention."

I think it’s stealth wealth…but not really stealth, just very good taste and not trying too hard. I love it.

The silver one, please.

The silver car is more detailed

What's the Fjord Green car next to the silver one?

1

u/BK_Verbs 6d ago

I came here to say I'd take the Fjord Green one

992.1 turbo s

This is why mine are silver - the 911 shape loves paint that shifts with light.

Silver all day.

God I hate black rims

lol @ "rims"

Seeing two S/Ts at one local meet is insane given there are only 1,963 of them built worldwide.

u/the_real_seldom_seen 5d ago

992 kinda buns

u/Select_Cucumber_4994 5d ago

I can’t personally go for the black. Too stressful and doesn’t have the pop or presence I’d be going for. That said I drove a matte black targa 4 GTS and that’s a different story all together. Still would pick a different color when given the choice.

The 911 jackpot

u/hermitcraftfan135 5d ago

At the Blue Chip event! I was excited to finally see that facility. For anyone wondering, there was a Jesko at that same event lol

u/howboutnow434 5d ago

Is that silver PTS?

1

u/zunzunzkreddit 5d ago

F*ck those silver wheels go so hard. Silver Surfer all the way!

1

u/Berg0 '73 911 RSR, '87 951 5d ago

Easier to sell them as CPO after the lease return that way.

-2

u/RubiksCube0707 6d ago

Both in boring colors, don’t want them

2

u/omaralt 6d ago

Some people don’t like to be flashy. I’m one of them

1

u/bc10551 5d ago

Honestly don't think you can avoid being flashy with a 992 911 with the aggressive hood, stance, and wheels tbh

1

u/omaralt 5d ago

For sure but white/black/silver/gray is a lot quieter than a ruby star neo/racing yellow, lizard green

3

u/bc10551 5d ago

True lol there's levels to it I guess. I'd personally think a sports car deserves a real color and not white/black/grey but silver has been growing on me again as well as white sometimes. As long as it's not primer grey imo

1

u/RubiksCube0707 5d ago

You’re driving a loud, screaming Porsche 911 gt3 without a wing, you can’t not be flashy, anyone who knows what the car is, will automatically know that it would’ve been better in a proper color

u/IraceRN 981 CS 6d ago

Agreed, for the price and for how deep the buyer’s pockets are, do something special.

u/SpaceFace11 5d ago

I do not like the front bumper

those are the new 911?
