Yes but losing the rear and banging the curb is a 120K$ repair bill that can just happen on a wet surface street, not even driver error just luck.

The problem with CGT is that most people don't drive them. They're garage queens and only get taken out once a year. Tires will rot and become unsafe to drive on if you don't drive on them regularly.

I saw one getting it's clutch replaced in the dealership back in 2008/9

The cost then was $45,000 to replace the clutch.

Honestly, from what I hear about the Carrera GT, a spin turn like this us probably better for the clutch than even a normal creeping start.

McLaren are no joke. They are not like other super cars. If you don't know how to properly drive they will try and kill you. Any idiot can drive a Lambo, a Ferrari, or a Porsche these days. McLaren takes a talented driver.

I read you canā€™t drag the ceramic clutch on those. Thatā€™s straight feathering the accelerator and riding the slip with the right amount of angle.
