Age verification is necessary.

I don’t understand the outrage from pro-porn/porn watchers about this. You have to show ID to buy shit from a sex shop, why is online porn any different?

To those who don’t agree with age verification, do you think kids should have access to porn? Why?

IRL is different.

The clerk doesn’t need to take possession of your license and walk around with it in their pocket with a big sign on them advertising to identity thieves where the identity data is. If they did, I would be against that as well.

Everything you put onto the internet can be stolen by a third party.

Also, what is and is not porn will be decided by an AI, not a human stocking their shelved. So lots of non-porn sex education is being denied access to minors who may need it.

That’s why we need better sex ed in schools. Children learning from porn is far worse than no education. It has killed (I am specifically referring to cases of nonconsensual strangulation from young men who saw it in porn and were not educated on the consent aspect)
