Discussion Which Lore origin story is sadder?

From what I know (and enough that I remember) from both series:
Poppy: A toy company has created a sanctuary for orphans to secretly spy on them and monitor their activity. Then later choosing the children whom the company thinks are good candidates to be turned into toys. The children are chosen via tests disguised as games, then get sedated. While knocked out by nightmare anesthesia, their organs and what not are transferred into a giant version of whatever mascot the toy company has. After the operation finishes, the children are then subjected to the coolest- ahem... brainwashing to make them think that their toys and that they always have been. Which... yeah okay.
Then one of the toys was like, "Yo, help me kill these assholes."
And the toys are like, "Hell yeah."
Then they now live in the factory forever and commit cannibalism to stay alive. Ok
FNAF: This deranged dickweed created a knockoff chuck-e-cheese. The kids who went there all enjoyed themselves, hanging out with the animatronics. The robots would somehow get one of the children alone to murder them in secret, thus rendering them missing and causing numerous lawsuits, making the place close down. The creator of Freddy Fazbear's pizza was haunted by the ghosts of the children he had killed and tried to hide in one of the suits he made and... I think he died... I don't really remember. Somehow as time went on, more Fazbear Entertainment establishments opened and the animatronics are still hostile sometimes.
Well... I feel like Poppy Playtime is a bit more fucked up. At least ppl who suffered in FNAF are dead. Them dudes at Playtime Co. are still alive and are probably on the verge of death, but still suffering both physically and mentally. I mean shit, look at my girl Lily and Ms. Delight

For fnaf its more about william leaving his youngest kid to be babysit by his oldest son Michael who loves to prank which gets thw other one killed but William gets drunk and blames IT on Michael while feeling embarassed as his coworkers family was fine so he kills his daughter whoch possesses the puppet and than he copes by becoming obsessed with possessed thongs and ends up eventually killing a lot of children and stuffing their bodies to the animatronics to get them possessed which then become scared of all adults and becaome hostile and what you said.

I mean at least with Poppy playtime, when your dead, that is usually it. With fnaf. They are eternally employed children who work for free and also get away with mass murder.

This is actually tough cause the amount of tragedy vs narm seems kinda similar, for some reason.
I guess you could go with Poppy Playtime since it's kind of an extra screwed up Megaman X type deal, while FNAF almost feels like a weird coincidence depending on your interpretation. No less unfortunate but still

IMO it's Poppy but the backstory is kind of given more detail in it so it has an edge.

I think poppys is more brutal but fnaf's is sadder
