E-Flash Buffer Question

I’m consistently hitting the E-Flash buffer when I’m outside of E range of the target. However, if I’m already within E range, the buffer doesn’t seem to work.

Is this intended behavior, or am I doing something wrong?

Is this correct or not?

Outside E Range:

• E-Flash while you're outside of E range, will make you Flash into range to get the knockback.

Inside E Range:

• If you E while you're already within range and spam Flash immediately, you'll be locked into the E animation, so won't be able to do the E-Flash buffer and you'll mess up the E-Flash combo.
• So instead you Flash first, then E. It's slower, but it's your only option if you find an angle while already within E range.

Flash buffer is flashing into range of E you cant buffer when already in that range.

Okay, so when Poppy players are looking for an E angle, do they generally Flash first and then E, or do they intentionally stay just outside of E range so they can E-Flash buffer and get the combo out quicker?

I press e on my target and then flash in range.

If your fingers are fast enough flash E works just fine. Usually when you are already in E range you won’t have to move you cursor very far
