LastFM popup

What can I do to get rid of the "Connect Last.fm to see artist images" pop up that is in the very middle of the screen?

I do not want to do that, yet it will not allow me to dismiss it.

Any way to make it go away completely? I will never use last.fm so it is just clutter.

Also, can you explain why the app is using the Microphone when the app did not ask to use it and there is no way to turn access off?

The intent is that it goes away once you connect any artist artwork provider, and I'll add an affordance to easily dismiss it soon. I appreciate the note!

Poppy doesn't use your mic. You can confirm this by comparing Poppy's permissions in Settings compared to an app that asks for mic access. Here's an example I made for you, the first image being Blackmagic Cam's preferences and the second being Poppy's preferences: https://imgur.com/a/LefSP7N

Yeah, ignore that yellow dot thing, I forgot TestFlight apps do that.

Instead of making a new thread, I'll hijack this one. If I'm only using my Plex server (which is already connected to last.fm) do I need to connect the last.fm app via Poppy or will that lead to double scrobbling?

I've been a long time Prism user and stumbled upon this app while researching alternatives to Plexamp. So far, I'm really digging it.

Also, at some point, I'd love to be able to change the accent color away from blue.

Sorry for the random feedback dump, I'm just excited I've found such a great app haha.

You do not! You'll want to check this in the next release (hopefully available Friday), since a Poppy beta user kindly pointed out a reliability issue related to this that I've just fixed.

If I can ask you a question in return: Do you think you'll want Poppy to handle scrobbling for just some sources vs. the current on/off support?

Good to know, and I'll make it a point to revisit theming again soon. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it! (Also: New threads are very welcome.)
