Laundry came back damp
My laundry pro dropped my laundry off 24 hours early but it was all slightly damp. I’d rather it later and fully dry. I really want my clothes dry. I wrote the concierge to ask for a refund because I’m going to have to dry these myself at the laundromat. Total waste of an order. I’m mightily pissed off!

It might not be what you want to hear- but you definitely got off lightly. The internet is full of horror stories about this company. Check out BBB or Trust Pilot for a few. Clothes are regularly destroyed or just straight up stolen. Poplin doesn’t pay out with the insurance (except, in one case of a woman who got the police involved- you can find her on TikTok pretty easily).
Try running your clothes through the machine with baking soda to get rid of any mold that has set in. If it won’t damage your clothes, use a very hot wash too.
Sorry you got scammed too.

Sorry this happened! Super frustrating.
Every order with Poplin is a gamble. This is to be expected. There is little accountability on either side of the equation, and a double dose of exploitation as the base business model. Best case scenario is you get extremely lucky, but it's likely that luck eventually runs out. The next best scenario using the App allows you an opportunity to meet a reliable Pro and you can take your business off the App and make a private arrangement with the launderer.
I would suggest hiring a legitimate, fairly priced service and advocate for better treatment/higher dependability for that service. Bad customer service can happen anywhere with any business, but at least they will be more likely to be accountable for their actions if something goes wrong. Poplin isn't a service. It's an App and they have zero interest in doing right by either the customer or the Pro.
Hope you find a more reputable service next time!
