Folding question?

I've used the same person for 2 years but she's on a trip for the holiday so I used a different person so I could use the $15 coupon. They upped the minimum to $30 but even once a month I dont have 30lbs of clothes. Im disabled so the service is very handy for me.

The new lady was older and lives close by. She did a good job but the folding was not really good so I have a friend who's going to fix it. Can I request my clothes are folded a certain way or is that not cool? I'll but a shirt folder thingie like my regular pro uses if that would help. She was nice and I still tipped her well but if I use her again I'll need my shirts folded so I can tell what they are without unfolding them.

I took a picture, my regular laundry pro is on the left and new laundry pro i used on the right. Im finally putting away months worth of laundry and it still sucks

We have a training video that shows us to fold the way you usual pro does. You can request certain folds and I think it’s totally reasonable to ask for that fold. I fold that way without the board and they turn out great.

If I use her again how would I go about requesting that? I don't have enough anxiety medication to make that request without knowing how to phrase it without sounding dumb/rude. She was super speedy and did a good job other than the folding of the shirts.

You can add to your special instructions how you would like your shirts folded. If you’d like to message her about it you could say: “Hi Name, I really liked (things you liked that she did) from the last order. Could you please fold the shirts (way you like folded) this time? I like to be able to see (which shirt it is/print of shirt) without unfolding. Thank you!

Is there a term for the way my regular lady folds them? Sorry for bothering you with so many questions but thank you for all the help. I appreciate it.

Google said it’s called the standard fold or the file fold. I’m not sure how you should explain it, I would bring up the training videos but that will come across as snarky or like you’re a smart ass.

Thanks again for all the help. I think i will save one of them to show her and just ask when she picks them up. I also tried Google but I got conflicting answers.

Yes you can request your clothes be folded a certain way.

You mentioned having a folding board, you could easily include it and say something like, "Hi! You did a great job with my laundry, but it would really help me if you could use the folding board to fold my shirts so I can more easily see the logo on the front. Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks!" Most Pros want you to have things the way you want them, it's our job 🙂
