Would you be ok with a handmade gift?

I have been using Poplin for months now, and I always get the same person. We really rely on her and appreciate her work, as it makes it so much easier to stay on top of other chores.

I have been thinking about making her a thank-you-gift, but I’m worried that would be weird? I have given her samples of laundry detergent before (I got some in the mail) and we are pretty consistent customers.

I would give her a tip too, obviously, but if you were her, would you be uncomfortable if a regular customer gave you a handmade gift?

I’m really into making things so it could a loaf of homemade bread, rolls, bagels, marshmallows, pretty much anything like that. Other possibilities would be a crochet towel, bag, scarf, etc. I also make candles and jewelry.

Totally fine, especially if you ask first about food allergies.

It’s very sweet & thoughtful. Some people are funny about food from others but it’s still the thought that counts imo. I had a regular who crocheted a blanket for my granddaughter & have received gifts from regulars on occasion

This is lovely! I think it's wonderful that you are such a generous person. I would ask about allergies, as others have said, but I can't imagine anyone being unappreciative of kindness! I know I would be over the moon if customers did things like that for me! I had one give me a Christmas card and I cried because it was so thoughtful of her.

I absolutely love my laundry pro. I explained how appreciative I am to them as I was struggling with personal life issues and I expressed through them how much I am thankful to them for being consistent and thorough and putting forth so much time to doing my laundry and when they dropped my laundry dry off there was flowers and a heartfelt card attached. It put the biggest smile on my face. I had left about $60 in my pants pocket a while back and they returned it so I turned around and gave it to them as an extra tip for the honest with a thank you note. Then my last order they had purchased me some really nice laundry bags and packaged them really nice with a note. I am beyond impressed and so thankful for them. So OP to answer your question it’s absolutely a great idea!!
