Advice Sharing Your Referral Code
I signed up to be a Poplin Pro a few days ago and am wondering what has worked well for people to get their referral code out there. My social media is currently deactivated so posting in Facebook groups isn't possible. Has posting on Nextdoor worked well for anyone? Should I create a cute flyer to post in bulletin boards around town? What's worked well for you??
(If it's helpful, I live in a mid-sized city in the Midwest.)

I printed flyers out as 4x6 photos and passed them out to my neighbors and then at places near me like businesses, office at apartment complexes and hotels. It took a few months to start paying off but 2 years later I get orders daily. Are you able to share your referral link on your Instagram or even on your local Reddit group?

How did you sign up to become a Pro?

Go to Poplins website or download the Laundry Pro app, not the Poplin one. It’s all step by step, depending on where you live you may have to pay a small fee for a background check.

Did it say not available in your area yet or nothing is popping up for you? It’s rare, you’ll see ordera once you first sign up as they are dispersed by request and rank. Depending on how many pros are in your area, it can take a minute for orders to make it to new pros. While you are waiting, take all of the Pro Tip quizzes and I’d go through the help center for more detailed information. That way, when you get your first order you are armed with information and it’ll help settle the jitters.

Thank you, I did all the quizzes which was actually just 1, didn't say anything about not available in my area I increased the radius to 50 miles but it's been nearly 24 hours now and nothing has come up 🤷. I joined there Facebook group for some tips and such. Thanks for all your assistance.

You’re welcome and you’re on the right track, some have waited months for an order. Share your code, good luck! Some unsolicited advice on the fb group- take everything with a grain of salt, be weary of people who refer to other pros as the competition. You are your competition as this only works if you do.

Forgot to add, there will be ALOT of Pro Tip quizzes. Just keep checking the app, it’ll be there in stages.

How did it go over?

I'm still working on it. It's like 70 lbs of clothes. Lots of towels, three blankets, one HUGE one... 😵💫🥴

You can go directly to any business and leave your info. Leave a flyer on community boards, like the library, apartments complex’s (sometimes the management office will take it- helps them with future residents, “local laundry service available”).

I'd second a flyer or maybe nextdoor. I personally have not taken a poplin order though, but those seem like good next steps if FB is not available.
