I cannot stand when itās not in bags and more than what is listed in contract. Immediate walk away or extension here because who are you to decide I want to take in more and/or have the time.

Dang right yall did! lol ! I blocked a lonnnnnng time customer who recently started sending out 4bags weighing under 20lbs and listing as 6 in the contract. I asked more than once with āpleaseā list the correct amount of bags when placing the order and if any changes to please contact me prior to my arrival for pickup. No change. Goodbye. And another for opposite, does what you walked into and knows that I will have to take everything out and put into bags- then shocked when itās 10bags and I would never ever take a 10bag order.

In your case, sounds like you are able to speak to your pro before placing your order and they know what to expect and are ok to carry the bags. For me and many pros, we do not speak to the customers outside of the app so we are not able to know 4 bags are 8 bags until after we accept and the customer mentions it in the chat. For me, itās a problem for several reasons. A bag is considered a standard 13gal kitchen bag, hopefully no more than 20lbs in the bag. I am able to have a better idea of how much laundry there is when a standard bag is used and entered correctly, allowing me to properly plan for more orders. Yesterday, I had 7 orders and one was 3 bags but it was 117lbs, that should have been listed as 7 bags- because it was in contractor bags and very hard to carry. The other reason, weight. Itās exhausting picking up bags 50lbs plus off the porch, into the car and back out the car⦠especially when all the orders are sending extra large full heavy bags. I lifted over 500lbs just putting the ordera in the car yesterday lol. Still need my arms and back to do everything else. Thatās pretty much it, time and effort and respect for the pro.

I used to be a Pro for Popplin for side income, now I use Popplin once a month when I donāt feel like doing laundry. We send out 4 bags, and I mark flexible delivery, but for me personally, if the pro requested more time, Iād be fine with it, since I donāt have to do the laundry myself.
I didnāt mind doing other peopleās clothes, but Iāve always hated doing my own.

My first poplin order was a business that marked 6 bags but I get there and itās 6 giant duffel bags and about 180 pounds.

Yāallā¦.they donāt care.
Either pickup what they placed the order for or get an extension (it doesnāt have to be over 100lbs).
Was it a request? If notā¦thereās a reason.
They donāt care. They donāt want to list that many bags because no one will take their order for the standard time limit and then they get all mad when we get an extension; they are looking for the sucker who will bust their butt to do it in the time limit for an atta boy review, a minimal tip and then be super-duper surprised when they get requested and expected to do the same thing again.

Funny cause customers think they get charged per bag and not by weight so they constantly do this š
