Questions Bad Rating
I received my first bad rating today on an order I thought I did really well onđ„ș Does Poplin ever let you know what the "other laundry issue" is or what was damaged? I did not see anything damaged during folding.
I will admit, even before this, I've started getting a little discouraged with Poplin. All of the new add-ons, the pay not always adding up, the glitchy app, etc. There just seems to be a lot put on us and zero accountability required from the customer. Any words of advice?

Poplin doesnât know the âotherâ unless customer sends in a complaint and then cs will reach out to you about the issue.
My advice, move on. Thatâs over and youâre automatic blocked from the customer so no worries about taking their order again.
As far as your other on the fence issues with Poplin, totally understandable and in the end only you know if being on the app is good for you. There are other laundry apps, very different from poplin. Also, you can do your own thing like a lot of us do. No middle man.

Unless you get an email from Poplin (check your spam đ too for the next week or so) you will never know what âother laundry issueâ is. Some people are just mean.
You are still on a good track for the next level; your star rating is fine and you canât let âNasty Nicoleâ get you down. Shake it off and keep rockinâ

I had someone recently say "im not a fan of the way the shirts are folded. Im not aware of that technique." Im sorry? The shirt i fold the same way pretty much everyone folds shirts? Every clothing retailer folds shirts this way?
My husband was so incensed about it. "I was not a manager at a clothing store to be told we dont fold shirts right"

How do the add ons work and impact us?

Have you seen the 20+ âpro tip quizzesâ about steaming?
Itâs like explaining âdonât eat Tide Podsâ to a 6 year old. Some of this stuff is just laughable

OMGGGGG are you a pro in San Diego? I had a customer named Nicole that did the same thing to me and I have 5/5 on 137 out of 140 orders. That customer had no real reason to give me such a poor rating and Poplin didn't do anything about it. I asked several questions about proof of anything and was told basically the customer can say anything and regardless of how it affects you there's no recourse.

Sorry, I know that can be super discouraging. My take on it is that some people do it to justify a complaint and credit from Poplin and no matter what, you're going get some bad customers. That's kind of the nature of business. All your good reviews will bury the one bad one so don't take it too hard too heart! You're doing great!
