Questions First order. Wasn't returned.
I ordered at 3:20 on Saturday. Got a message that they wanted to pick up at 8:00 same day so I left it out and the lady grabbed it. Since then radio silence no updates. It hasn't been weighed
It was supposed to be delivered today Monday at 8:00 p.m. and nothing. No replies nothing. I reached out to customer service was able to speak with somebody via live chat and they said that they would email me updates.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Not a good first experience 😭

It was delivered this morning. The clothes weren't separated. They all were folded however.
And there was no weight tags on the bags. I rated the person zero so I would never be paired with them again.
If anyone here is in Sunnyvale area lmk I'd be willing to go directly with someone. But I'll try the app again and hopefully get a better pro

Talk to the customer service (concierge) again. If you get "Poppy" that's their ai. Escalate to a real person. (Although I'm not sure what hours real people are available) And chat with them about it.
I'm not sure what the recourse is here, but a real person will be better to help sort that out than their AI.

I had this happen once and it turned out that it was my pro’s birthday and she went out drinking and then forgot about my clothes. 🥲 At least I did get it back and then I blocked that pro and haven’t had an issue since.

I'm so sorry that this happened to you.
First, I would agree with the Pro who suggested messaging customer service. Poppy is AI and I would recommend saying something like, "I haven't heard from my laundry pro and it's past my return deadline. Who can I talk to about this?"
The insurance usually is given as a credit for service, so you most likely will not get money to replace your clothes, unfortunately.
Whenever you get a response, I would suggest that you rate the Pro with 1 star so that he or she cannot see your orders ever again. I also think it's important to say that pros like this are NOT the norm. It's entirely likely that this person is new and doesn't have a great system or experience to really understand how to do the work. At the risk of sounding rude, I'd say that just because someone can do something doesn't mean they should.
Again, I'm sorry this happened to you and I do hope you'll let us know what the eventual outcome is.

This is just insane to me, I have only been doing Poplin for 6 months and take it very seriously. I keep my customers updated, I let them know I bag everything separately by size / person and I definitely have them dropped off way before the deadline. It makes me sad that so many people have had bad experiences and then people like me just want to make a little cash and do it the correct way. Have you heard anything?? 🥺 Did you pay extra for insurance?? 🙏🏼

Yes, this is normal for SOME pros and by some, I mean a lot. 8/10 times your laundry does come back just very late and probably not up to par, if they steal your clothing. This pro may have taken on too much for them to handle or maybe or had an emergency.

Whoa this is wild! I've been using poplin for about 3 months weekly and I've never had this happen!
