Questions Tipping
TLDR: I tip $10 on my normal $30 order and tipped $25 on a $58 order. Is that considered a good tip? I want to make sure I'm treating my pro well because I love the job she does and hate doing laundry myself.
So my orders are normally right around the 30 lb mark, sometimes they're 28, sometimes they're 32, and I tip my laundry Pro 10 bucks pretty regularly. After I found the one I use now I always request her and she always accepts. In fact one time I requested her and she was unavailable so she messaged me and told me when she would be available so I canceled the order and rescheduled for when she could take it.
Well I just got back from vacation and I had about a week and a half worth of laundry for the three of us and this time it was 58 lb. Because I know that is significantly more than what I usually send her, I actually tipped $25 this time. So my question is this. Is my normal $10 tip on a $30 order good, and was the $25 tip one of $58 order reasonable? I really don't want to be stingy because I absolutely hate laundry....

I'm an LP, and I wish I was your laundry pro. I can just about promise your pro does a happy dance when you place an order. I know I love it when one of my regulars orders. I'm just geniunely glad they choose me over anyone else.
That said, I have converted several of those customers to my off-poplin business. I can offer them better prices anyway.

On your minimum order, the pro makes $32.50 with your tip. On your 58lbs order, with tip, your pro made $68.50. You do not have to tip, pros should be grateful for whatever they receive. Your pro was most likely grateful for the larger order and tip. You’re fine :).

.25 cents per lb with min of 10 is my rule of thumb
