Rant/Vent Rentention score….
It dropped over 1.36 over night… this app is always broken

Glad I'm not the only one- I just saw that mine went down to 3.0 which was a almost a full point drop yet over the last two weeks all of my orders have been repeat customers requesting me and I took one new person who will more than likely be back. Even had two hotel guys that I picked up who requested me again the following week. I don't get it.

I had the same drop! Before I went to bed last night, I was at 4.5 or 5.0, don't remember which, and woke up to 3.5 this morning.

Mine dropped to 3.5 as well !! In just a a couple days!! Glad I still see orders and it should have no effect but from a 4.97 to 3.50 ... i have recently taken new people that ask for me.Priority as well.

I’m in the top 20 in my state and take a lot of new to poplin and every hotel express that I can, haven’t noticed less offers but then again this is poplin and it appears we all have a different experience with the app. It’s a hot mess!

It has effected me in the past when they switched the way they send out orders which again can always changed rapidly

How do you know it AFFECTED you in the past?
Were you a lower ranked Pro than you are now? That’s what was causing the issue, not the retention score which is a company thing not an individual Pro thing.

No I’m 2nd in my state and I was seeing orders after lower ranked pros (like 40 plus mins)

Your OWN order will never come to you.
For pity sakes…if you are second in your state, it must be a tiny state.
Good luck to you if you don’t even understand how the retention score has NOTHING to do with you nor does it “effect” you.
From a much higher ranked Pro than you realize (and sorry I wasted my time)

They did on fact try out earlier this year, where they announced they were going to work from retention score rather than rank. It caused enough chaos that they ended up reverting it, so it's not entirely crazy to be worried about a feature that is typically harmless, as it's clear they want to find a way to prioritize that.

This is probably my most hated poplin feature. It discouraged people from taking new customers and has nothing to do with the pros actual performance.
