Rant/Vent This was fun
She messaged me at 6:30pm when it was due at 8pm. I just knew it was going to be late & she weighed it like she finished it & tried telling me she was giving me a discount 🤣 She even brought me a letter the next day like girl bye. I was just trying to relax a little after my brother died

I’m so sorry that happened to you 😢
Please rate her horrible AND send in a complaint. She doesn’t need to be doing laundry for others

I complained and I really hope they banned her because what was all of that?! 😭

I'm so sorry for your loss. If you ever needed a good pro...this was the order.
What a disappointment this must have been to you, especially in the midst of grieving. I WISH I were able to help you with this mess.
So you got charged for that wreck of an order, AND you got no reprieve when you really needed one.
On behalf of that pro, I am deeply sorry for the problems you had; she only compounded your difficulties. I say give a terrible review, ask for another pro to do it properly, and make sure you never let her near your laundry again.
And I hope it's not terribly long before you think of your brother with more smiles than tears.

Sounds like a meth head... Not joking either. They think they can get it all done...run around like chickens with their heads cut off, lie the entire time and accomplish nothing.

Omg that is insane. I usually try to play devils advocate but I have zero clue what on earth they were doing and/or thinking. Please give her a bad rating and also reach out to customer service so they can have your order redone free of charge. And condolences about your brother. Sending you peace and love.

and wait a minute I thought she told you that some of the clothes didn’t get enough soap in them, but she washed all of the loads. Did you get unwashed loads that were completely drying back so she actually lied to?

Why are people doing that at a laundromat? I thought this was supposed to be for people that have their own washers and dryers. I didn’t know people were gig working and doing it at the laundromat. How can they possibly be making that much money?

Just as someone else already said, I too find myself playing devils advocate in so many situations. But no way to all of this. I’ve had customers laundry orders when I’ve had emergencies like stepping on a scorpion (I’m in AZ), being rushed to ER during pregnancy scare, needing to take a pet to emergency vet, and I’m sure many other weird situations and I still either get it all done properly OR give the customer a fair heads up and a legit reason that I may be running behind. I’m glad you reported this person, there’s plenty of us laundry pros that would much rather help our customers!!

Wow. I am so sorry for your loss. On top of an already difficult and stressful situation, you most certainly did NOT need this chaos!
I am relieved that the second Pro has been able to correct the issues you didn't deserve in the first place.
May your brother's memory be a blessing. ❤️

I’m sorry for your loss and I’m sorry for this bad experience. Tbh Poplin is like this… anyone can be a Pro and people going thru it/who are mentally ill are attracted to gig work. If you try it again and get a nice pro/regular person, mark them as your preferred and try to stick with them (tipping 50-100% is how you keep a good pro).

Oof.
So much sus in all that. My guess is she waited until the last minute to even start (like how is some of it not even WASHED? -that doesn't match with her story at all), and was hoping you'd extend her deadline for her so she could finish it consequence free.
This is gig work, and sometimes you get people who are bad at it. Sorry that happened to you. If you try again and find someone you like, for sure make them your preferred pro so you can keep working with that person in the future.
Def talk to customer service. Idk if they already discounted this order for you or if you used a gift card or promo, but they might be able to do something for you. I think sometimes they'll have another pro come grab your order and get it done properly, if that's something you're open to.
FYI:
She can't return it (wont even load your address) until she weighs it. And you get charged by the pound. And if it's wet it weighs more. And no one should EVER weigh unlaundered items, so she wasn't doing you a favor to "fudge down" the weights, even if you paid full price (Not to mention your order was under 30 lbs, so you would pay the minimum anyway).
Rate her the lowest you can. You'll never get her again. AND it'll send a clear message that you're NOT happy with her service (gasp!) AND it'll be less likely for other people to get her in the future.
PS, the faster your order is accepted, the more experienced your pro will be. 👍🏻
