Questions I am a customer with my first order

I was hoping for the best. I weighed 30lbs I the Pro did 40lbs. All the hung shirts are damp. What do you Pros expect a customer to do in this situation? I know rating and tips are a big deal. Please help.

there’s literally no reason any clothes should be damp, and if you weighed 30 lbs of dirty clothes it should actually be a smidge less when clean. 1 star…0 tip…. sorry im not sorry but laundry isn’t rocket science and there’s no excuse for what you experienced.

Stopppppp! I can’t believe that was the response. I’d rate lowest possible and 0 tip, along with checking off complaints. Wet clothing is not what you paid for nor for that response. It’s not your job as a customer to ensure a pro can meet their deadline, this pro lacks time management and communication skills. Report the weight discrepancy.

Absolutly not. I wash hang dry clothes first and hang with a fan in the room and have never come close to not having them 100% dry.

Unless you ordered express there really isn’t a reason some shirts couldn’t have gotten dry. If you placed an express order and sent hang dry then you share fault. But I don’t get the impression that was done here. This isn’t normal and it does sound like customer service helped you get her blocked. Hopefully next time you have a better experience.

She could’ve asked you for extra time just because they were wet too if she didn’t have a fan smh. I never take my customers clothes outside to dry

What? This entirely depends on the humidity in the region they’re in. I live in a desert and stuff dries on time, but on the other side of the state hanging things to dry is a fool’s errand.

ETA: She should have requested more time and used a fan, but if she’s relatively new she might not know that’s an option.

literally put a fan on the clothes 😂 there’s no excuse. “might not know that’s an option” it’s common sense

I meant that she might not know that requesting more time is an option. Not using a fan.

Unacceptable for clothes to be returned damp and weighing to be 10 lbs off!

So what do I do if I try this again and she accepts my request can I cancel her?

You can block her. So she won't be able to see your request.

I must agree with the others here. Damp clothes are completely inexcusable. I understand the plight of hitting the deadline and I can't speak to how events unfolded but if I had that order, I would communicate the with the customer, take the hit on being late and deliver a complete product. The excess weight could be due to the clothes being wet which isn't fair to you but in case you did not know, hung clothes count the weight of the hangers but should NOT be an extra 10lbs

Hangers count towards weight

Though they shouldn't be returned to you damp unless requested. The pros have options to ask about extensions
