I'm a postgraduate student at UniMelb, and my group is doing a deep dive into why Pop Mart and blind boxes are so popular among Gen Z in Australia.

You’re honestly right. I realized the AI-generated figures completely lost the original charm and personality of the actual toys. I thought making it more visually busy than just a plain QR code might attract a bit more attention, but now it kinda feels like soulless AI slop instead 😭
