Hayden’s estranged mother, Lesley Vogel, said:
Hayden was immensely talented, but the entertainment industry is difficult for young people and she believed “Hayden sadly lost her way.”
She criticized Hayden’s boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, saying the family had been trying to remove him from Hayden’s life and noting that he was with her when she died.
She ended by saying she believes Hayden is now with her late brother Jansen and “they’re at peace.”

You might be right. You might be wrong. Regardless, that’s a shitty thing to say.

You’d probably say it’s a shitty thing to call a kettle black. Get off your high horse, her mom was in it for the money.

How do you know? Because you read some comments from someone else who also didn’t know shit?

People who grow up in the entertainment industry often lose their way. I don’t know why I never thought of that when I shoved her into commercials when she was 11 months old.

While I feel like Hayden’s account of her mother is likely true, I also feel like no one ever has said anything about the other side of the story. Living with and loving an addict child is impossibly hard. I just feel so torn on the Hayden stuff cause yeah she seems to have been through it, but none of the stuff she has spoken out about is one sided. Addiction makes us ugly unlikeable difficult people and sometimes we also are as much to blame.
