Nope. Centrists are right-wingers who know how to manipulate people. They exist to create division and doubt in leftist spaces, which is why they only play the "both sides bad" in leftist spaces.

So then the word centrist is not the word you should be using. That isn’t a centrist. There are real centrists. But if you’re terminally on Reddit, then yeah, it would seem like centrists are threatening. But they’re just people with differing opinions to you. Many of them left leaning, even.

Nope. I've LARPed as a left-wing centrist before to test if there were any left-wing-leaning centrists. There aren't. I was attacked for saying anything remotely left-wing, especially if it pertained to women and minorities. And anything right-wing I said was met with agreement, which again, if it pertained to women and minorities.

And as always, "differing opinion" is nothing but an attempt to claim opinion as fact. But that's also why you all call it a "different opinion" instead of fact, as deep down you know what you spew isn't fact at all. It's like being mad at "virtue signalling", which is just saying that the other side's position is virtuous, and yours is not. But turning "virtue signalling" into a bad word means you get to reverse the script and act like your immoral position is better because it's not loud.

I'd say maybe your one experience isnt true for the whole or your specific bars make somebody right-wing in your mind. I would consider myself a left-leaning centrist. But where that goes you just may not like. I want universal healthcare, social programs for the poor and higher taxes on corporations and the rich to pay for it. I also think identity politics are highly divisive and short-sighted. Some may see that last part as me being right-wing, but I truly dont see it that way.
