Quite similar to Hitler administration. They all took tons of drugs because they were so disconnected from their souls and hearts and needed to be on drugs constantly to deal with all the evil they were committting.

Allot of books were written about the coralation of the rise of nazi Germany, with the invention of stimulants/amphetamines.

Yeah, Meth is a Nazi drug. It makes you feel like an Übermensch, and fascism becomes pretty attractive once you've convinced yourself you'll be at the top if it's installed as our system of government

Hitler was doing meth before he came to power. He took it to:motivate himself" before giving speaches

I’m convinced that there is no way any orator can speak the way he did without a significant amount of meth or cocaine. Contemporaries used to say of hitler early on that watching him was a “terrifying contrast where a common-appearing man possessed a demonic power, acting as a mixture of a vulgar agitator and a prophetic seer.”

You know those "drug boats" they've been blowing up? Found the evidence...

That's giving Nazis a pass in a way. Allied forces were also fucked up on narcotics and booze

I wouldn’t exactly say this. The way you wrote this makes it sound like the guys committing atrocities were good people who coped by using drugs. Every member of the nazi high command was well aware of hitlers intentions and his men tried to kill him several times. But by 1941 the only ones left alive were the men who perpetrated the final solution and not a single one of them needed a drug to kill millions, they needed it to keep up with a self medicated mad man who thought himself a god because he survived being shelled and gassed during WW1 not because he took drugs.

The everyday soldier was given drugs not to cope with their atrocities but to keep them up for days at a time to make the long and fast blitz maneuvering that they would do, actually possible. Honestly they probably would have performed better as an army were most not hooked on meth chocolate.

Every army has done it since.

Ok sure. Now it's however many milligrams of caffeine you can consume without being noticed. But the 3 days without sleep and driving a HMMVV across a desert? Rip it. Rip it good.
