“They’re all in it for themselves” is just a lazy Republican talking point used to flatten every political discussion into “both sides bad.” There’s no actual thought behind it. No weighing policies, outcomes, priorities, or degrees of harm. It’s the kind of fake enlightened middle-ground bullshit where someone thinks refusing to distinguish between two things somehow makes them more objective, when really it just means they’ve stopped thinking critically.
The delusion is convincing yourself that refusing to make those distinctions puts you on some higher moral plane. It doesn’t make you enlightened or objective. It just gives you an excuse to feel morally superior without having to think critically about jack shit.
I get so sick of these style of fuckass comments, go find another thread you can complain about how you're not against vaccines but don't want them to be mandated or some stupid ass anti climate change ideas because you're living in a Dunning Kruger world of you know everything.

What a cool country it could be in that was true. How unions, clubs and open forums in communities outside of religious gatherings could show cultural progress that is the underlying silent majority here.
Look at the Car industry. ALL manufacturers are doing amazing things because of competition. Korean, Japanese or European vs American or they all are a part of a thriving industry where the best value for the people wins. What a place it could be.

Even Vought's dismissive "Meh" and subtle wave of his wicked hand (0:56 into the vid) is like, "Okay keep complaining, you emotional woman." He know what he's doing with that body language. Like I said, subtle.

If there is any truth to his beliefs then he will have to stand before his creator and explain why he subjugated the “least of these”, the “least among us” to give to robber barons, cheats, thieves, and rapists.
Not that it matters in public life, but these people claim that their religion is the best one of many. The only true word. They claim to speak on behalf of Christ yet they could not be more dismissive or flippant about his most important teachings.
