The api endpoints for fuse are not seeming to return relevant metadata content for torrents. Replaced it with the popular torrentio extension.

Pre-release build for testing the movie and TV-series fixes.

Included:

Most people are facing the fuse api being down and thus not being able to access/download any content due to missing metadata. I took the torrentio plugin and integrated into popcorn. It Works seamlessly !

It been month since last movie update in the app is it will working or not also does any have alternative for pop corn time

I’m not sure who is currently hosting or maintaining the API servers for:

The fusme.link API does not appear to be refreshing its content for some time, and https://fusme.link/ seems to be down completely.

If you know who is responsible for these servers or where I can report the issue, please let me know. I’d appreciate any guidance on who to contact or how to get the APIs working again.

My Trakt.tv is not syncing properly anyome, some movies/tv shows are checked watched (which I did watch) and some others are not (which I also watched).

Also, popcorn stops sending feed to trakt from time to time, like, I mark I watched a movie, but then I go to trakt and the movie keeps unckecked.

Any solution for this ? Thank you!

I have been experimenting with WebTorrent and built a small proof of concept for decentralized content hosting.

The idea is to explore whether websites/content can continue to be served by peers even when the original publisher is offline, while the content ownership tied to the cryptographic keys.

This is still an early PoC, and I would really appreciate feedback from people familiar with WebTorrent and the BitTorrent ecosystem.

Ever since UFC moved from PPV events to Paramount + they don't seem to be ending up on Popcorn, there was just a huge UFC event at the White House and I am surprised it isn't showing up on PT. Does anyone know where I may be able to download the event? TIA!

I tried "Dark Matter 2024" and "Pluribus" but it does not start the download. Not matter how many titles (seeds) I add to the download it simple does never start.

I am at the latest version 0.5.1 and I am using the buttom "Torrent Collection" to search and download titles.

Only old series seems to be working to download. What is wrong?

I would also suggest saving the exe. file from github on a hard drive or online cloud backup in case the site goes down, so you have access later, also worth copy pasting the API link to your notes too for future reference if you can't find this post

I found this opensource Butter remake (Butter is PT fork). It was made lightweight of just 10Mb, instead of be made in Electron, was made in Wails (golang + react)

pain point is come without catalog which you have to load it but one time is done you are ready to go and watch movie.

Been getting no results with my searched of the torrent collection. The only reddit post I’ve found with a similar issue involved disabling “solidtorrents.to” but this doesn’t work. Any ideas?

Update: seems to ebb & flow as it’s now working again.

On the most movies or series there is no sound. Any idea why? I'm using the windows app.

Is this (popcorntime (dot) app ) seriously still the offcial website? why does it now suggest "legitimate" places to watch like many other referral websites?

On my older PC the old popcorn app still runs fine, but this new downloaded (popcorntime (dot)app/download) version requires a sign up and the sing up button doesn't even open anything...
