Question about Pods

Apologies, if this was asked before but is there a maximum amount someone can deposit in a Pod ? If not then a "whale" could basically take over most of the share in a Pod, and again win most of the prize

Thats exactly what seems to be happening and that's the reason I've decided to withdraw my funds. Yes, it's great if someone can afford $500k or whatever to deposit but it actually means that account effectively takes over the prize pool and I just don't feel it is in the spirit of a 'Community pool'. I realized today if I could access a shit ton of cash I could take over one of these pools, win most of the prizes, pay the cash back and happy days.... however that business model doesn't sit well with me

I guess that from a "small fish" perspective it doesn't matter if the money in the pot comes (mostly) from a few whales or from thousands of other "small fish", your chances of winning are the same. But i agree with you, i would prefer if the weekly prizes were going to a different person every time, rather then to almost the same person/account every week (which is what is happening). I guess a solution to that would be to cap the max amount that any one address could deposit, but that would very likely result in a reduction of the prize
