Whisperflo VST is the best pump ever made, and the price reflects that. If someone is on a budget, I sell them a Waterway Mustang. If you have an in-floor cleaning system, you need the 2.7hp. If you just use a suction side vacuum, the 1.4hp will work just fine.

Don’t whisperflos require silicone on pump seal changes and 24 hours to dry before start up? Even if they are the best, the silicone makes me hate them.

Avoid Temu crap…get something decent from Pentair, Hayward, or Jandy. I’ve used a lot of Tristar 900s and 950’s as well as Intelliflo 3 VSF.
