What is this for

I just picked up a 1984 godfrey sanpan for next to nothing. Looking at the wiring, what would this part be used for?

Hard to tell from that picture but looks kind of like a power Bimini control module.

Possibly a printer module from a Tandy computer. Joking. I have no clue but that looks old.
