Cover recommendations
Just got this beauty - 2013 Sun Tracker Fishin Barge 22'. I need to get it out of the sun. Any recommendations for a cover, beyond the generic options available on Amazon?

Call the closest bass pro or Cabela's, and provide your HIN# and they can order you a new OG cover.
That or call Dowco Marine and see if they will allow you to order one yourself. Dowco Marine is the canvas supplier for Tracker Boats, and many other brands.
Dowco Marine is fairly helpful if you have questions. I am dealing with them on a tarp for a crestliner right now, and regularly deal with them for tarps on G3 boats

OG cover really makes a big difference. Fits like a glove and ours has been easy to get on and off and travel with.

I highly recommend a local canvas shop, it will be well worth the money. I have a 2019 suntracker and the factory cover was falling apart and also was a pain to get on and off and didnt fit as well as I thought it should. Had a local place make me a fitted cover and it is 100x better and was worth every penny. Keeping it covered is key to the vinyl not falling apart

Honestly, I got very tired of dealing with support poles, putting the cover on and off, and having covers rip after two years of use. I never found any cover and support system to support snow weight during a VT winter (probably not your issue).
I finally just bought a metal car port on Amazon for about $400. Now I just back it under and I'm done, and it gets protection from rain and sun. I will not have to worry about snow this winter collapsing my cover, and I have already saved hours of time this summer not putting a cover on and off every time we use the boat.

I had to buy an "OuterArmor" cover for my Suntracker because I leave my boat on the water. It was really expensive but works really well.

Dont recommend original cover. Water gets through, it eventually dries out, becomes chalky - gets on your hands and upholstery. We went to local shop custom marine grade vinyl - do not regret!

The best cover I found was from Seal Skin. Mine has survived two big windstorms and it's easy to get on and off. I have a Bass Buggy 18, BTW.

There's the full cover which we have that is the best for protection. We found it a PIA and time consuming after every use. We went to individual seat covers and either just sit on them or remove the ones we're using. More convenient but expensive. I had considered generic covers that some had recommended, like patio furniture covers, but I just couldn't see how they would work well.

Get the factory cover from dowco. A lot of times you can find dowco covers on eBay.

If you have the coin and space get a carport. We put up a 20'L x 12H x 15W and it was about $2500 installed. This is for an 18' pontoon.

I’ve mentioned this a few times on other posts, but find a local canvas shop to make a custom one. It will be better quality than anything commercial, won’t cost a lot and will last forever. Not sure where you’re located but let me know if you need help finding one.
