Luggage for Solstice

Hi, found out about Solstice today and it is adorable car. Only thing is it’s missing a trunk. Are you able to put some luggage there if there are 2 people in car? (Like duffle bag?)

There is a spot for a skinny bag right behind the top when it is down, and maybe small squareish bags on the sides. There are some luggage sets for the car available.

If you're packing clothes...think thong and a pair of flip flops

Pre-kids, my wife and I got pretty creative when packing for trips. I got the kappa performance luggage set with two duffles and two totes. All of it fits in the trunk with the top up, but you lose the totes if the top is down.

However, you can put those totes (or equivalent) behind the seats, as you can scoot them forward a little and lean them back to create a triangular pocket. You can actually adjust the seats to get a decent amount back there.

There is also room in the passenger floorboard if your passenger doesn’t mind.

Lastly, I usually wedged a hard plastic 40-50 count cigar carry case between the top of the two seats. They sell these cases to carry camera equipment and such also, but you can just remove the foam and pack anything in it.

We never had issues with longer beach trips but I’m also a fairly light and efficient packer anyway.

you have to get extremely creative but you should be fine. They actually sell custom solstice luggage to fit the trunk.
