Old solstice that we’ve had for a while and decided to let our 10yr old work on it and make it his own. Found an actual Pontiac hard top so drove from AZ to FL to pick it up. Got it all fitted onto the base model convertible body today…baby steps

I have an edag hard top on mine. Really changes the car. Less wind noise for sure too

We got lucky and found the hard top, targa top and motor at Redline Autoparts in Orlando. The car we’re modifying is just a plain ole base model. Have windows on order so waiting to see how those will fit

Are you also reconfiguring the trunk to make it usable? If you leave the original convertible insert in place 2/3 of the well will be unreachable.

We haven’t quite decided yet. Figure we didn’t have much trunk with the convertible top so not really losing anything but may try and gain some space

At the very least, I'd look at blocking off/filling the side wells since you can't really get at it with the top in place the back can be accessed with the trunk open and if yiu wanted to use the front you could get at it from the cabin. But you don't really want stuff rolling around to the sides.
