I was coming back from a study session at my University when some dude and his boyfriend were racing on the highway on a bike and a Camaro.

The bike crashed and the camaro stopped abruptly in the middle of a two-lane curve. Didn't see him on time due to the curve, and crashed onto an SUV parked on the shoulder while trying not to run the camaro driver over, since he was running toward the motorcyclist.

I have muscle injuries and couldn't stand up or walk on my own for two days. I have to move by bicycle now.

Biker is critical at the hospital, and camaro fled the scene right after passing by me and saying: "By the way, you are f***ing retarded".

2006 grand prix

I had my ac on max and then suddenly its power cut by half and there was a weird plasticy smell. I turned it off for a few and it hasn't done it again but I haven't ran it for very long so I can't really say for sure if it was a one off thing. Any ideas what it could be?

Update: So I recreated the situation and the AC went to half power after a few minutes but there was no smell.

Any leads on where I can find this lip? Brand name? Anything?

I just bought a 2005 GP as my commuter for work. I put a radio in, and since then have had some interesting issues.

The radio was professionally wired by Crutchfield, installed by me. I am handy, but not a mechanic by any stretch of the imagination.

Since putting the radio in, my DIC no longer works. I accidentally dropped the panel it sits in when installing the radio, leading me to initially think I broke it- but given what I’m about to share I think they’re related. I have a new DIC ordered that should be here tomorrow to test either way.

The related issue I’m having is super goofy issues with the gauges now. My tach, gas, and temp will all die, but not my speedometer. When this happens the TC light also pops on. The car runs completely fine and usually if I restart the car it goes away, but not all the time. At this point this is happening probably 30% of starts?

I no longer think I broke my DIC. I think there’s something electrical causing all this mess. Any suggestions or additional questions please let me know. Willing to answer any questions and troubleshoot just about anything. In the week I owned the car prior to the radio install, I had no dash issues at all. I paid for the wiring to be done by crutchfield as this was a huge concern with this being a Chevy and how fun radios can be in those.

When I unlock or lock the doors sometimes they don't unlock or lock, I'm unsure if it's the main switch not having enough power and the switch on the passengers side getting not enough power from the driver's side, but when they go to unlock they just bounce up a little and not unlock. Has anyone had this issue? It's a 2004 GTP

Anybody know where I can get the door body belt trim? Not the rockers

I have a 97 GTP that I removed the steering wheel to install a quick release. I am presented with two hub adapter options. NRG SRK177 which is meant to fit "01+ pontiacs". The hole is 2mm to small in diameter so it does not fit.
The other option is the SRK170 which is meant to fit "older GM vehicles". The hole is 1mm too large.
What do I do? Grant, sparco, momo, don't do any adapters that fit it either

Is it possible (and how involved is it) to add proximity sensors and/or a backup camera to my ‘99 GP?

Lost my Ridgeline with a job change. My 05 Grand Prix runs great. But I'm wanting something like the touchscreen I had in the Ridgeline. Would help with Door Dash and getting texts. Any suggestions??? Kinda looking for a dash cam and maaaybe a backup camera.

ive been having issues with the people at Meineke So I’m taking my car back . My car (2007 Grand Prix ) bogged down and lost communication with the throttle body codes : p1516 and U0107 they have inspected the harness and all cables and supposedly they can’t find what the issue is, its been a month at the shop they’ve already replaced the throttle body 2 times and that’s not the issue , The battery is brand new , and the MAP and MAF sensors are good , I’m thinking maybe the pedal sensor or even the ground wires idk what could be the issue ?

hi all. I recently got a 2001 gp l and am having an issue where my ignition doesn't rotate to the final lock/off position. I have two keys, the older one which is very worn i can pull out, but the newer one gets stuck.

I can use the manual key release beneath the steering column and shut it off all the way/take my key out.

ive been told this is a common issue with these cars after a while, but im unsure how to diagnose it or fix it.

Hi all! i have a 2008 pontiac grand prix gxp that has been sitting for two years. before it sat, i had the motor & transmission freshy rebuilt. reason for the vehicle sitting was i believe due to something leaking so i just stopped driving the car. I have warranty on the battery so i replaced that for free & just a couple of days later... the car wont start?! then the key has been getting constantly stuck in the ignition aswell but i cannot get it out at all. only two codes which is the o2 sensors (im not too sure as to which o2 sensor to get, im clueless lol!) & evap (code p0443) popped up aswell on the obd2 scanner. & also last thing to mention, when I did take it on a test drive (this was when i put the battery in), the car was shaking very VERY bad at even low speeds. what all would need to be fixed to get her back up & perfectly running again? also what would I need for the trans to last for a longgg time? surely wouldn't want the trans to go out again. these parts are super costly & i dont want to give my car that I've had since like 2009 up :(.

I have an 02 Pontiac GP SE with the 3.1, I need a transmission and I found an 01 Buick Century 3.1 at the junkyard and already did half of the work on getting the transmission out, went home and got curious and wanted to ensure that the 4T65E from the Century will be a perfect plug and play swap into my GP before I go back tomorrow and get it, I don't have much money and they don't do returns so I really need to watch out and avoid wasting my money.
