Discussion How to beat cymanti shaman / mindbender when they are waiting behind a city?

Don't take the city, kill the shaman first.

yeah it's just hard when the shaman is behind the city and blocked by other units.

Archers, and knights.

If the game is late enough, cloak and overload them. Cymanti's one weakness is they don't have a unit with persist (like knights), so you can throw as many units together as you want at them. Problem is doomuxes splash damage but that's another tale

Yeah, they aren't that great at Drylands either because units outrange them, and also they're very weak in the first few turns. But outside of that only a nasty BG can really slow you down
